Le Mystère de Jean l’oiseleur was published in 1925 in a limited first edition of 130 copies. It consists of 30 self-portrait drawings by Jean Cocteau with very little text.
„Cocteau-Dance wo anata-to” is a commentary essay and also an analysis of Cocteau, written in the style of “I” (Anna Ogino) recalling dialogues with “Kyoko” about her thesis on the subject of Le Mystère de Jean l’oiseleur. It is not only the mirror that Cocteau crosses, but also the boundaries of ism and style. In her thesis, Cocteau transcends time and place, and eventually leads to Haruki Murakami.

1925年、初版限定130部で出版されたジャン・コクトーの『鳥刺しジャンの神秘 (Le Mystère de Jean l’oiseleur)』。そこには、わずかに文字の添えられた30枚の自画像デッサンがあった。
「コクトー・ダンスをあなたと」は、『鳥刺しジャンの神秘』を題材にした「恭子」の論文について、「私（荻野アンナ）」が彼女との対話を思い起こすスタイルで綴る注釈的エッセイ／コクトー分析である。鏡（生と死）を通り抜け、イズムやスタイルの境界を飛び越えて、コクトーの跳躍はやがて村上春樹に届く。
